Yoga's Health Benefits


"The part can never be well unless the whole is well"
It seems that every few days there is a new study released expounding upon the value of practicing meditation, mindfulness, breathwork and asana – i.e., Yoga. With the surge in clinical trials supporting the powerful benefits of Yoga to body, mind and spirit, Yoga Therapy has emerged as a complementary alternative medicine.  

The following has been compiled as a starting point for the community to understand more around the depth, breadth and therapeutic application of Yoga though this list is by no means exhaustive and will continue to be expanded upon.

We've chosen to feature many different teachers, in part to help show the diversity in teaching approaches, encouraging you to find the right teacher and style for you. The experts featured come from different traditions, qualifications and experiences and are located around the world.
